Cooking Instructions

DEEP FRY

Place FROZEN potato cakes in fryer basket and drop into preheated vegetable oil at 180c. Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown in colour. Shake basket to remove excess oil. When cooking 1 potato cake at a time, supervise cooking times so product is not over cooked. For best results always DEEP FRY FROM FROZEN

OVEN

Preheat oven and oven tray to 230c (210c for fan forced) for 10 minutes. Spread FROZEN potato cakes in a single layer on the tray. Bake in oven for 5-7 minutes, turn and continue heating for a further 5-7 minutes or until product is golden brown in colour.
*PLEASE NOTE: Cooking times will vary from oven to oven. Adjust the cooking times to suit your oven and preferences

Our original potato cakes are made using an old traditional fish and chip batter. This product presents as a product that looks like you made it yourself in your shop. We have made sure that each piece is consistent in size. Perfect for all food institutions especially traditional Fish and Chipperies who no longer want to slice and batter their own potato cakes. Your customers will be coming back for more.
